Jagoba Malumbres-Olarte

Jagoba is a researcher (ecologist, biogeographer) and science illustrator who aims to advance our understanding of the formation of biodiversity and to contribute to its conservation in the face of climate change through illustrations. He works with other scientists to visualise and explain the latest scientific discoveries and ideas through highly realistic portraits (for taxonomic publications), schematic diagrams or infographics that explain complex processes, creative illustrations to promote and summarise research for non-experts or educational images for readers of all ages.
